SINGLES LIKE A VIRGIN 1985

Pour son 3ème single issu de « Like a virgin », Madonna sort ANGEL qui raconte l’histoire d’une fille protégée par un ange dont elle tombe amoureuse. Ecrite en collaboration avec Stephen Bray, cette chanson donnera lieu à des critiques mitigées, certains notamment la considérant comme trop classique ou n’étant pas parmi les meilleures de l’album. Cela n’empêche pas le titre de devenir le 5ème top 5 de Madonna au Billboard Hot 100 et de prendre la tête du classement Dance. Elle se classera également en très bonne position dans de nombreux pays ! En revanche, pas de réelle vidéo pour promouvoir le titre qui ne bénéficiera que d’un clip, destiné au Royaume-Uni, compilant les images de ses anciens clips.
