Cette chanson sort en 1985, en marge de son dernier album en date, puisqu’il s’agit d’un titre et 1er single issu de la Bande originale du VISION QUEST. Ce titre est une première pour Madonna qui n’avait auparavant jamais enregistré de vraie ballade ! Si la maison de disque était sceptique et avait comme crainte de faire de l’ombre à l’album « Like a virgin », le titre est salué unanimement par la critique notamment pour la nouvelle orientation musicale prise par Madonna. Une fois de plus, le succès est au rendez-vous ! Madonna est la star à la mode et tout ce qu’elle fait se vend partout dans le monde !
