2nd single extrait de la bande originale du film « Vision Quest », GAMBLER a été entièrement écrite par Madonna et produite par John Benitez. Cette chanson au rythme santé-disco entraînant n’est jamais sorti aux USA en raison de son label Sire Records mais clôture en apothéose une année 1985 riche de 7 singles au total ! Promue par un clip reprenant des scènes du film, la chanson est bien accueillie par le public malgré des critiques assez mitigées. Ce sera ainsi un succès au Royaume-Uni et dans plusieurs autres pays européens.
