Pour ce nouvel extrait de Bedime Stories, Madonna revient sur l’époque provocante et controversée de son livre SEX et de son album EROTICA. Mais cette chanson n’a pas vocation a atténuer les choses, Madonna chantant «I’m not sorry, it’s Human Nature», «Oops, I didn’t know I couldn’t talk about sex»et «absolutely no regrets». Ce message malheureusement n’est pas très vendeur ! Le titre ne dépasse pas la 46ème place aux USA. Heureusement, l’Europe lui réserve plusieurs top 10.

Le vidéoclip également très controversé a été dirigé par Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Habillée d’une combinaison en vinyle, et accompagnée de danseurs des deux sexes, Madonna utilise à nouveau clairement des codes du sadomasochisme comme le bondage et la fessée. Jugée trop choquante et allant trop loin dans la provocation, la vidéo sera bannie de MTV, mais fera quand même l’objet de 2 nominations au MTV Vidéo Music Awards !
