Dernier extrait de son album à grand succès « Ray of light », cette chanson sortie au printemps 1999 a reçu un excellent accueil des critiques mais aura un succès commercial plutôt limité, seuls quelques top 10 en Europe sont à souligner. Le clip a été dirigé par le réalisateur Johan Renck et filmé au Studio Silvercup à Long Island City, New York. Dans la vidéo, Madonna joue une Geisha inspirée de « Hatsumomo » personnage singulier du livre de Arthur Golden « Mémoires d’une Geisha ». Madonna voulait ainsi se représenter telle qu’un des protagonistes du livre, coiffée d’un carré noir jais et vêtue d’un kimono rouge créé par Jean-Paul Gaultier.
